Question:
Info about Injections- Bimix/Trimix?
Answer:
I have been a newcomer to injections since September and writing about
my experiences here to help people who might be interested in trying
them and also to learn from experiences of others.
First, let me say that I am very satisfied with this therapy. It is
hard to beat. On the down side, most of us would rather take a pill
than inject our penises BUT if you are not satisfied with what you are
taking now, let me say for myself and other users as well, that the
thought of the "horrors" of sticking yourself with a needle is usually
well overblown in your mind. I would say that most people are quite
surprised at how uneventful it really is. Of course, I do think that ED
sufferers should not make injections their first attempt at treatment,
nor should it be their last resort. Most of us will say that the results
of injections are usually excellent and for some even spectacular. Also
there are few side effects, no stuffy nose, no flushed face or impaired
vision, high or low BP or interactions with other drugs to worry about.
Timing with respect to diet, alcohol, etc. are nonuse. Also erections
are almost instantaneous and long lasting with less concern over losing
it into thin air. All of this is because you are administering the drug
right at the site and not systemically.
There are available a number of drugs for injection. Caverject is one
commercial drug. This can also be obtained in generic form from
compounding pharmacies for a fraction of the cost. Two others are called
Trimix and Bimix. These are obtained from compounding pharmacies.
Caverject contains only one drug, Prostaglandin or PGE1, while Trimix
contains three drugs, PGE1, Papavarine and Phentolamine (or "PPP" for
short). Bimix contains only two, Papaverine and Phentolamine but no
PGE1. All three agents are strong erection producers, esp. PGE1.
PGE1 is the strongest erectile agent of the three. It is often used as
the entry drug by many urologists but in my opinion this is not the best
drug for starters. I believe that Trimix or Bimix is better. I think
that PGE1 is a bit too strong for most beginners unless the person has
severe ED. Prostaglandin (PGE1) seems to be responsible for a common
complaint of "ache" in the penis and testicles and it may tend to yield
very persistent and possibly dangerous erections at high doses.
Trimix, because it also has PGE1 in it, may also have some of these
characteristics. Up until Dec. all my experience has been with Trimix,
which worked very well but I had to find a low enough dosage that gave
good erections but not so good that I had to cool my tool with an ice
pack. Since Dec. I have tried Bimix for the first time. I have taken it
about 3 or 4 times and I find it superior to Trimix. As always we have
to warn everyone that much of what is reported here in this website is
individual experiences and your experiences might be very different.
With Bimix I have to use about 2 -3 x the dose I use for Trimix to get
the same reaction. This is because Bimix is lacking that strongest
drug, PGE1. The cost ends up being about the same because Bimix costs
less then half of Trimix. In any event, the cost of each dose can be as
low as $.50 a shot or more typically less than a dollar. including the
cost of the syringe (cheaper than Viagra, even when cut into quarters).
Bimix for me gives a more natural feeling erection with little or no
"ache". The erection is "heroic" like with Trimix or straight PGE1. I
have been using 0.15 cc but I could use less (0.1cc). This dosage
starts to give me a firm erection in about two or three minutes after
injecting (like you can almost feel it swell right after you inject) and
continues to maintain the erection even after I climax, which would be
great for those who want to go a second round or for me something for my
wife to play with in the post coital afterglow period. Having an
erection that won't fade after ejaculation is new to me. Heretofore and
even with Viagra, I would always deflate after climax. It's kind of a
novelty for me but not so much fun if it lasts for hours. I did have
some cause for concern when this did happen with Trimix but I was able
to get it down in a few hours after I applied cold running water to my
magic wand. I have NOT tried to overdose with Bimix as yet but I have
the feeling that Bimix is a little more forgiving in this department
because I think the villain is PGE1, which, I think, is more likely to
give you priapism and possibly injury from persistent and prolonged
erections that last for many hours.
I am not going to into how injections are administered. That's for
another message or check out the FAQ on the web page.
