Changed Prodrome & Erectile Dysfunction

Question:
Well I believe I am having my outbreak (Minor) presently. However the prodrome was different from all my earlier ones, and this is my second time experiencing discomfort while urinating. The discomfort itself was like as if it was full, yet unable to empty it. What I did to comfort it, simply by ceaselessly stroking it until it is done. Nevertheless this problem is likely to stop whenever visible symptoms like either blisters or localized redness starts appearing on skin here. I used to remember that it always gave me either tingling or burning sensation before the outbreaks, but not anymore. My question is whether anyone has similar problems/ prodrome before the outbreaks? Could this cause erectile dysfunction in men? Is the pre-outbreaks (prodrome) symptom inclined to change over time too?

Answer:
As one of the ladies, I'm not really sure if I understand what's going on with you, but I do think it's possible for prodrome to change. I haven't read or heard about any correlations to erectile dysfuncion. What are you doing to treat it? Actually, looking at what you have here, it sounds a lot like a UTI, or urinary track infection, esp the feeling that the bladder is full and you can't empty it, the burning, etc. Women tend to get them far more often than men, but men can get them, and they can be awful. Perhaps you should see a doc because antibiotics can help trementously. Also, there's an over the counter medicine that reduces the pain, burning, and urgency to go. It's called AZO standard and I always have some on hand. It's cheap and available at most pharmacies. It turns your pee nuclear orange--always a fun trick. The thing to remember about AZO is that it only numbs the urinary lining (or whatever it's really called) and is no cure, so if you do have an infection, you really do want to have it treated by a doc.
